How treatment for head and neck cancer may affect daily life

Recovery is different for everyone and depends on the treatment that they have had, but it will take everyone time to recover.

There may be physical changes in the way you look and possibly changes in some of the most basic activities of daily life such as the way you speak, or what you can eat.

There will also be emotional changes to deal with. It is important to give yourself time to adjust.
