The information in the Kaposi's sarcoma information centre is based on the Cancerbackup booklet, Understanding Kaposi's sarcoma, which has been produced in accordance with the following sources and guidelines:
- British HIV Association (BHIVA) guidelines for the treatment of HIV-infected adults with antiretroviral therapy. 2005.
- National Aids Manual (NAM) website www.aidsmap.com
Guidelines are constantly being updated and those noted above may have been revised since this booklet was produced. You can access up-to-date guidelines in the health professionals section.
