There are some rules to follow in order to ensure your email will look good to users who receive it in a plain text format.
If you include a link in your text, make the link text the same as the link URL. For example, if you want to link to Google, it should look like this:
http://www.google.com, not like this: Google
If you include an image with a link, make the image title the same as the link URL. For example, the title should be "http://www.google.com", not "Image of Google logo"
