I have just been told I have a brain tumour. What is the best treatment?

Treatments for brain tumours may involve surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy or a combination of one or more of these.

The best treatment depends on:

  • the type of tumour
  • its size
  • where it is in the brain.

Once your specialist has all the details about your cancer they will be able to talk through with you the best treatment for you.
