3. My father is doing his best to look after our mother at home, she has an advanced, incurable cancer. This is causing him a lot of strain and distress. He is a devout Muslim, and has always fasted during Ramadan. My brothers and I are worried that if he does this now it will make things worse. Are we right to try and persuade him not to?
