No, pregnancy has not caused your daughter’s cancer.
Cancer in pregnancy is rare. And because it’s rare there aren’t a lot of studies on it. But we know that pregnancy itself doesn’t cause cancer and pregnant women aren’t more prone to cancer than any other women. The cancers that tend to happen during pregnancy are ones that are commoner in younger people, such as Hodgkin lymphoma.
