Cancer is discovered during about 1 in every 1000 pregnancies. Of these cancers diagnosed during pregnancy about 1 in 10 is a malignant melanoma.
This means that malignant melanoma appearing during pregnancy is extremely rare. Because of the relatively small number of women in this situation, it is difficult to produce absolutely reliable statistics.
There is no evidence that a further pregnancy would increase her risk of having any further problems.
The one thing to mention is that it can sometimes be difficult to be absolutely certain that the cancer has been cured after the initial treatment. With melanoma if the cancer is going to come back this will usually happen in the first two to three years following treatment. For this reason some women may be advised or prefer to wait for three years after their treatment and make sure all is well before going ahead with a further pregnancy. She might find it helpful to talk this through with her specialist.
