What is the best treatment for skin cancer?

There are several treatments for skin cancer including:

  • surgery
  • cryotherapy
  • radiotherapy
  • chemotherapy.

Choosing the right treatment depends on many factors including:

Your feelings are also important. Often there is a choice between a small operation to remove the growth or a short radiotherapy treatment. Once your doctor has all the details of your skin cancer they will be able to discuss the treatment options open to you.
