Dying with cancer

This section is for you if you have cancer and it is likely that you may die within the next few months. If you have a close friend or relative who is terminally ill with cancer you may also find it helpful. It explores what it means to die with cancer, what is likely to happen, and the information and support people most need in this situation.

If you, or someone you care for, are in the last stages of cancer, and the decision has been taken to die at home, we have information that can help you understand what happens at this difficult time, and reduce some of the fear and uncertainty.
