Melon in ginger wine

Serves 4

Ingredients


Melon on a plate
  • 1 medium melon
  • 8 pieces stem ginger in syrup, drained
  • 175ml/6floz ginger wine

Instructions

  1. Halve the melon and remove the seeds.
  2. Cut the melon flesh into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a serving dish or individual glasses.
  3. Chop the stem ginger and scatter over the melon.
  4. Pour over the ginger wine.
  5. Chill well before serving.
