Spiritual and religious support when caring for someone with cancer

Some people find that they become more aware of spiritual or religious feelings at times when they are under stress. If you already have a strong faith, it may give you a lot of comfort and support. Some people find that they start to question their faith.

If you think that it might help you and/or the person you are caring for to talk to a religious leader, don't be put off because you are not sure what you believe or have not worshipped regularly. Spiritual leaders are used to dealing with uncertainty and are usually happy to talk to you and the person you are caring for, and give whatever support and comfort they can.
