The information in the working while caring for someone section is based on the Cancerbackup booklet, Working while caring for someone with cancer.
This booklet was produced by Cancerbackup in association with:
- Carers UK – a membership organisation of carers that provides information and campaigns for a better deal for carers.
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development – the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people.
- Working with Cancer – an organisation formed by four women who have had cancer to provide information to employers about how they should treat employees affected by cancer as well as advice for employees.
