Irish Cancer Society

A national charity for cancer care in Ireland. It is dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem and to improving the lives of those living with cancer, through patient care, research and education.

Services provided include: home care nurses, night nurses, cancer liaison nurses, a child play therapy service, cancer support groups, cancer helplines, a wide range of patient education materials on all aspects of cancer, a special fund for patients and families in difficult financial circumstances and bursaries for cancer nursing students.
