Pet Fostering Service Scotland (PFSS)

The PFSS provides emergency foster care for a variety of pets. The PFSS mostly foster dogs, cats and caged birds, but they are able to care for more exotic pets as well. They provide foster care if the pet owner has to go into hospital for treatment or for respite. This service is mainly provided for elderly pet owners with companion animals.

The service is free, but the owner is expected to pay for food and any veterinary bills that may be needed. Their services are available in Scotland only.
