Can stress make breast cancer come back?

Many people wonder whether stress might influence whether breast cancer comes back.

Several research studies have looked into this. The results show that undergoing stresses, like divorce, a death in the family, loss of a job or moving house, doesn't increase the chances of breast cancer coming back. There are even some results which suggest that stress can reduce the risk of the cancer returning.

So anxieties and strains in your life shouldn't have any ill-effect as far as previous breast cancer is concerned.
