1. What is the difference between complementary therapy and alternative therapy for cancer?

2. In my birth country we never used to have the medicines that are now available in the UK. We used traditional herbal medicines like peppermint and ginger and our elders were healthy and active and lived to a ripe old age. Now that I have been diagnosed with cancer, I would prefer to use my own remedies. Is there any natural remedy that has been proved to work against cancer?
